Nicky Bendix has been working as a performer, composer and sound designer since 1990. He has written, recorded and performed music for modern dance, theater, movies, spoken word, art exhibitions, video installations and video art. He works with producers, artists and clients from all over the world.
Aside from his original work and commisions, Nicky Bendix also writes and co-produces for oher artists, and up untill 2001 worked extensively as a jazz pianist. In 1995 Nicky Bendix recieved the honorable award “Jazz Musician of the Year” in Fünen, Denmark, at the young age of 25. The youngest person ever to receive that award.
Since 2001 Nicky Bendix has also been giving solo concerts with the titel "Bendix Visual Voyage", performing original material written for art, visual media and stage. He has performed in Denmark, Germany, Belgium and Colombia.

ship, with actors and musical ensemble performing on deck
and video projections in the sails.
The ship sailed from harbor to harbor around Funene, Denmark,
and the show was performed on the boat, with the audience
